I had weight loss surgery in Feb of 2003 and have lost 163 pounds!
Since losing weight, I have had some plastic surgery, worked within the Bariatric field, faciliated many support groups and now have the privilege of working for Dr. Mehdi Mazaheri! He shares my passion for helping those who have had weight issues in their life and in fact; he specializes in finding fabulous shapes underneath all of the loose skin left by years of Yo Yo dieting!
Because of my weight loss and my new active lifestyle; I am able to enjoy my family, friends, and many of the activities that I was unable to participate in while unhealthy and heavy! I hike, whitewater raft, dance, camp and ride horses whenever I get the chance. I look forward to having more plastic surgery work done with Dr. Mazaheri and also in helping many of my friends through the same process with a little Mazaheri Magic of their own!!!
I feel that my realization of my weight loss really started after I had my LBL and then when I had my BL, BA and thoroplasty & brachoplasty, neck lift and upper eyelid surgery, after the first procedure I could really see what was underneath and it really helped me become who I am today. I have to honestly say all that I thought I had to do was loose the weight and I would be looking great, well I was wrong loosing the weight was just the first step in a journey to looking great. Dr. Mazaheri and his staff were so awesome, very understanding and caring and they held my hand along the journey. he has a wonderful office staff in Terri, and others they make you feel welcome and comfortable and I never walked away with a question unanswered. I am looking forward to my next procedure with Dr. Mazaheri.
